The Scottish Football League Division One was played for the 22nd time in 1914/15 . It was also the 25th edition of the highest soccer division within the Scottish Football League in which the Scottish champions were determined. It began on August 15, 1914 and ended on April 27, 1915. In the 1914/15 season, 20 clubs competed against each other in a total of 38 game days. Each team played once at home and away against every other team. The 2-point rule applied . In the event of a tie, the clubs (with the same number of points) were placed tied.
The championship won for the twelfth time in the club's history Celtic Glasgow . No team was relegated this season after all top clubs were re-elected. The top scorer was Tom Gracie of Heart of Midlothian and James Richardson of Ayr United with 29 goals each .
