Records

Before he was top scorer twice in the 1903/04 and 1904/05 seasons, he was top scorer four times in a row between 1897/98 and 1900/01, which is another record that was only set by the Swedish striker in the new Scottish Premier League Henrik Larsson was hired, who was Scottish Premier League top scorer four times in a row between 2001/02 and 2003/04 .
In second place is James Quinn of arch-rival Celtic, who won the top scorer's crown four times and three times in a row between 1904/05 and 1906/07. In addition, only Lawrie Reilly of Hibernian FC won the top scorer's crown three times in a row between 1950/51 and 1952/53, making him the only player to have achieved this feat after World War II . Another five players were top scorer three times.
Tommy Coyne was the only one of them who managed to do this with different teams: in 1987/88 he won the top scorer's crown in the ranks of FC Dundee, 1990/91 with Celtic and 1994/95 with FC Motherwell. Also of the quite a few players who at least twice won the top scorer cannon, Charles Nicholas (1982/83 with Celtic and 1988/89 with FC Aberdeen) was the only one who succeeded in this with different teams.
Most goals in a season scored Willie MacFadyen in 1931/32 with 52 goals, followed by Jimmy McGrory, who scored 50 in the 1935/36 season.
