Thomas Stephen "Stevie" Chalmers (born December 26, 1936 in Glasgow ; † April 29, 2019 ) was a Scottish football player who played primarily as a striker . He is best known for scoring the winning goal for Celtic Glasgow in the 1967 European Cup final against Inter Milan .
Chalmers played twelve seasons for Celtic between 1959 and 1971, won the national championship six times, the Scottish Cup four times, the Scottish League Cup five times and was one of the Lisbon Lions . After leaving Celtic Park , he worked briefly for Greenock Morton and Partick Thistle before retiring as a player in 1975.
In 2016, Chalmers was inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame .
