The Scottish Football League Premier Division was played for the 19th time in 1993/94 . It was also the 97th edition of a top soccer division within the Scottish Football League in which the Scottish champions were determined. As a cup winner , Dundee United qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup . Second and third place Aberdeen FC and Motherwell FC qualified for the UEFA Cup .
