Premier Division 1993/94

The Scottish Football League Premier Division was played for the 20th time in 1994/95 . It was also the 98th edition of a top soccer division within the Scottish Football League in which the Scottish champions were determined. In the 1994/95 season, 10 clubs competed against each other in a total of 36 match days. Each team played twice at home and twice against every other team. From this season the 3-point rule was introduced. In the event of a tie, the goal difference counted .

The Glasgow Rangers won the Scottish Championship for the 45th time in the club's history. The Gers qualified as champions for the 1995/96 Champions League season . As a cup winner , Celtic Glasgow qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup . Second-placed FC Motherwell and the second-rate Raith Rovers as league cup winners qualified for the UEFA Cup .

Dundee United rose to the First Division at the end of the season . With 16 goals, Motherwell FC's Tommy Coyne was the top scorer.
