The Scottish FA Cup was played for the 110th time in 1994/95 . The most important Scottish football cup competition, which was directed by the Scottish Football Association, began on December 17, 1994 and ended with the final on May 27, 1995 in Glasgow's Hampden Park . Defending champion Dundee United , who prevailed against Glasgow Rangers in last year's final , was eliminated from the competition in this year's round of 16 against Heart of Midlothian . With a 1-0 win over the second division Airdrieonians FC , Celtic Glasgow was able to celebrate the 30th title in the club's history after the last cup victory in 1989 . For Airdrieonians FC it was the third consecutive defeat in the fourth final. The first and only cup victory was won in 1924 . In 2002 the association filed for bankruptcy and was dissolved. By winning the cup itself could Bhoys in Green at the same time for the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup season review 1995/96 qualify. There the team was eliminated from the French club Paris Saint-Germain .
