Qualification for Uefa cup

The Scottish FA Cup was played for the 119th time in 2003/04 . The most important Scottish soccer cup competition, which was officially held as Tennent's Scottish Cup and directed by the Scottish Football Association, began on November 22nd, 2003 and ended with the final on May 22nd, 2004 in Glasgow's Hampden Park . Defending champions were the Glasgow Rangers , who prevailed against FC Dundee in the previous year's final and won their 31st title. With a 3-1 final win over Dunfermline Athletic , Celtic Glasgow was able to make the double of championship and cup perfect in the 2003/04 season . As a result of this success, Celtic was able to win the title for the 32nd time and be back in front as the only Scottish record cup winner. Dunfermline, however, conceded the second defeat in the fourth final, previously in 1965 against Celtic ; in the 2007 final there should also be a defeat in the final against Celtic . The defeated finalist Dunfermline Athletic was due to the Champions League participation of Glasgower for the following 2004/05 UEFA Cup season , and was eliminated there in the second qualifying round against the Icelandic club FH Hafnarfjörður .
