In this year's Scottish Cup final, Celtic Glasgow and Hibernian Edinburgh faced each other. For Celtic it was the 15th final since 1889 . The Hibs reached the final for the fifth time after 1887 , 1896 , 1902 and 1914 . Both clubs were coached by the brothers Willie Maley and Alex Maley . The Bhoys won the final 1-0 with a goal from Joe Cassidy . It was the tenth cup win since 1892 . The Scottish Championship was won by the Rangers . Celtic was third and the Hibs eighth.
