The Scottish FA Cup was played for the 54th time in 1931/32 . The most important football cup competition in Scottish club football was directed and hosted by the Scottish Football Association. He started on January 13 in 1932 and ended with the repetition finals on 20 April 1932 Hampden Park of Glasgow . As the defending champion, Celtic Glasgow started the competition that had won against FC Motherwell in the final last year . In this year's Scottish Cup final, the Glasgow Rangers and FC Kilmarnock faced each other. The Rangersreached the final for the 15th time since 1877 . For the Killies it was the 4th Scottish Cup final after 1898 , 1920 and 1929 . The Rangers won after a 1: 1 in the first final game, the repeat final 3: 0. The Scottish Championship that same year was won by Motherwell FC, ahead of Rangers . Kilmarnock was ninth in the table.
