The Scottish FA Cup was played for the 123rd time in 2007/08 . The most important Scottish Cup competition began on September 29, 2007 and ended with the final on May 24, 2008. If a duel was not decided after 90 minutes, it was a replay. If this was not decided after 90 minutes plus extra time, there was a penalty shoot-out. The title was secured for the 32nd time by the Glasgow Rangers in the final against the second division club Queen of the South .
