The Scottish FA Cup was played for the 37th time in 1909/10 . The most important Scottish football cup competition, which was directed and hosted by the Scottish Football Association, began on January 15, 1910 and ended with the 2nd repeat final on April 20, 1910 in Ibrox Park in Glasgow . After the riots last year , no club started as defending champions in the competition. In this year's Scottish Cup final, FC Dundee and FC Clyde faced each other.
