The Scottish FA Cup was played for the 37th time in 1909/10 . The most important Scottish football cup competition, which was directed and hosted by the Scottish Football Association, began on January 15, 1910 and ended with the 2nd repeat final on April 20, 1910 in Ibrox Park in Glasgow . After the riots last year , no club started as defending champions in the competition. In this year's Scottish Cup final, FC Dundee and FC Clyde faced each other. For both clubs it was the first final participation in the club's history. After a 2: 2 in the first final game, the repeat final ended 0: 0 after extra time . In the second replay final, FC Dundee prevailed 2-1 and won the Scottish FA Cup for the first time . At the event this season, due to the tight schedule and numerous weather-related cancellations, there were some overlaps between the respective rounds and its repetitions. In the final table of Scottish Division One , the two clubs finished fifth and sixth, champion was for the sixth time as a result of Celtic Glasgow .
