The Scottish FA Cup was played for the 41st time in 1913/14 . The most important football cup competition in Scottish club football was directed and hosted by the Scottish Football Association. He started on 24 January 1914 and ended with the repetition finals on 16 April 1914 Ibrox Park of Glasgow . As the defending champion, FC Falkirk started the competition that had won against the Raith Rovers in the final last year . In this year's Scottish Cup final, Celtic Glasgow and Hibernian Edinburgh faced each other. For Celtic it was the 14th final since 1889 . The Hibs reached the final for the fourth time after 1887 , 1896 and 1902 . The Bhoys won the replay final 4-1 after a 0-0 draw in their first game. It was the ninth cup win since 1892 . The Scottish Championship was also won by Celtic , with which the double was won for the second time after 1908 . The Hibs came in thirteenth in the table. Great Britain entered World War I on August 4, 1914 . Until the end of the war in 1918, the Scottish Cup was not played.
