Aaron Donkor

Aaron Donkor (born March 21, 1995 ) is a German American football and former basketball player of Ghanaian descent. He is the brother of professional soccer player Anton Donkor .

career

The 1.85 meter tall Donkor played on the development position in the youth of the ASC 1846 Göttingen and later for the Göttingen representations in the JBBL and NBBL . In the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons he was in the squad of the BG Göttingen in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA  and in 2014 was second division champion with the "Veilchen". He played a total of 22 ProA games in these two years.

In the 2014/15 season Donkor played for the White Wings Hanau , and in 2015/16 for Citybasket Recklinghausen  (both 2nd Bundesliga ProB).

In spring 2016 he completed a trial training with the Düsseldorf Panthers from the German Football League and received  a position in the squad with the Rhinelanders as a defensive end .

In the spring of 2017 he received a scholarship to transfer to the Junior College New Mexico Military Institute in the United States as a student and football player . In December 2018, he moved to Arkansas State University (first NCAA division).
