Anton-Leander Donkor (born November 11, 1997 in Göttingen ) is a German - Ghanaian soccer player . He is currently under contract with SV Waldhof Mannheim .

Career

society

After starting out in the youth of RSV Göttingen 05 and JSG Lenglern / Harste, he moved to the youth department of VfL Wolfsburg in summer 2012 . After he made his first senior appearances in the second team there, he was loaned out to Everton FC's reserves for the rest of the year in winter 2017 .
After returning from England , he was on loan to FC Hansa Rostock in the summer of 2018 until the end of the third division 2018/19 season .

In Rostock he made his first professional appearance in the 3rd division when he was substituted on July 29, 2018, the 1st matchday, in the 72nd minute of the away game against Energie Cottbus . In the course of the season, another eight league games followed, a cup appearance against Bundesliga club 1. FC Nürnberg and five more in the state cup of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . He won the same with the club from the Baltic Sea coast.

After the loan ended, the striker did not return to Wolfsburg and was signed by FC Carl Zeiss Jena , with whom he signed a contract valid until June 2021. For the 2020/21 season Donkor moved to SV Waldhof Mannheim .
