Dominik Martinović (born March 25, 1997 in Stuttgart ) is a German - Croatian soccer player .

Career

society

After his beginnings in the youth of the Stuttgarter Kickers and VfB Stuttgart , with whom he became German B youth champion in the 2012/13 season , he joined FC Bayern Munich in 2013 , for whose A youth he also played twelve times UEFA Youth League accrued. In the summer of 2016, he moved to the second team at RB Leipzig . After this team was dissolved at the end of the 2016/17 season, he moved to SV Wehen Wiesbaden during the 2018 winter break . It was there that he made his first professional appearance in the 3rd division when he came on as a substitute for Manuel Schäffler in the 90th minute of the game on April 28, 2018, the 36th matchday, in a 3-0 home win against FSV Zwickau and he succeeded in the hit to the 3-0 final score.

After he had not played at Wiesbaden in the 2018/19 season until mid-November 2018, he completed a test training with third division competitor SG Sonnenhof Großaspach and scored a goal in a test match against 1. FC Heidenheim (final score 2: 2). At the end of 2018, Martinović's contract with Wehen Wiesbaden was terminated and he joined Sonnenhof Großaspach for the second half of the third division season 2018/19 . His move to SV Waldhof Mannheim was announced on July 27, 2020 .

National team

Martinović played a total of six selection games for German junior selections in 2012 in the ages U15 and U16 , in which he scored seven goals. In 2016 he appeared in three games for the Croatian U19 national team .
