Beginnings

Born in Bad Cannstatter , whose parents come from Kosovo , initially played for TSV Großheppach and SC Weinstadt when he was young. In 2009 he joined the Stuttgarter Kickers . Two years later, Arianit Ferati moved to the VfB Stuttgart B youth team . In the 2012/13 season he won the German B-Junior Championship with the Swabians . Arianit Ferati took part in the training camp of the Bundesliga team of VfB Stuttgart for the first time in January 2014 at the age of 16.

For the 2015/16 Bundesliga season he was promoted directly to the VfB first team as an A-youth. On July 31, 2015, Arianit Ferati made his professional debut for the second team of VfB in the 3rd professional league on the 2nd matchday of the third division season 2015/16 against Preußen Münster . He played his first game in the Bundesliga on September 12, 2015 on the 4th matchday of the 2015/16 season against Hertha BSC .

Arianit Ferati signed a contract with VfB Stuttgart on October 11, 2015, dated until June 2020.

Via Düsseldorf to Aue

In July 2016, Hamburger SV acquired the transfer rights to Ferati, provided him with a contract until June 30, 2020 and immediately loaned him to Fortuna Düsseldorf for the 2016/17 season in the 2nd Bundesliga . There he commuted between the first and second team. In addition to 13 appearances in the second division (one goal), he has made seven appearances (one goal) in the fourth-class Regionalliga West .

For the 2017/18 season , Ferati was loaned out to FC Erzgebirge Aue within the 2nd Bundesliga . In Aue, however, Ferati could not prevail under the head coaches Thomas Letsch and Hannes Drews and only made 4 second division and one DFB Cup appearance by the end of 2017 .

Ferati at Hamburger SV

On January 2, 2018, the loan deal with FC Erzgebirge Aue was prematurely terminated and Ferati at HSV was integrated into the second team trained by Christian Titz , which played in the fourth-tier Regionalliga Nord . After Titz took over the professional team in March, Ferati regularly took part in professional training. However, he was only used in the second team, for which he scored four hits in 13 missions.

After the professional team of Hamburger SV was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga , Ferati was pulled up by Christian Titz for the 2018/19 season . Under Titz he sat on the bench in a few second division games, but was not used. After Hannes Wolf took over the team at the end of October 2018, Ferati no longer played a role. After he was absent for a few weeks from November 2018 after an operation on his wrist and had played three games in the Regionalliga Nord by then, he was removed from the professional squad to prepare for winter. Ferati made a total of 13 regional league appearances in the 2018/19 season, in which he scored 3 goals.

SV Waldhof Mannheim

For the 2019/20 season , Ferati terminated his contract with HSV and joined the third division club SV Waldhof Mannheim . He signed a contract with the newcomer with a term until June 30, 2021.

National team

In May 2013 Arianit Ferati took part in a four-country tournament in Dublin with the German U16 national team. He completed three U16 internationals and scored his first goal for Germany against Belgium. He took part in the 2014 U17 European Championship with Germany's U17 national team. For the German U18 national team , Arianit Ferati played twice against France in March 2015. On September 4, 2015, he made his debut against England for Germany's U19 national team .
