Andis Shala (born November 15, 1988 in Đakovica , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a German football player .
Career
The trained center forward Andis Shala began his career in the youth of SV Waldhof Mannheim after he came to Germany with his father in the early 1990s. For the 2006/07 season he left Mannheim and moved to the Bundesliga club Hannover 96 . In the senior division, however, he did not play a single game for Lower Saxony, which is why he moved to Baden-Württemberg's upper division VfR Mannheim in January 2008 . After only one half series with the German champions of 1949, for which his father was already active two seasons between 1998 and 2000, Shala completed a trial training with the Scottish first division club Dundee United , whereupon the "Tangerines" signed him for the 2008/09 season . Then Shala made his professional debut on February 14, 2009 (25th matchday) when he was substituted on for Jon Daly in the 1-1 draw in the home game against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the 78th minute . He scored his first competitive goal in the professional field on August 25 of the same year with the goal to meanwhile 1-0 in the 2-0 win in the league cup game against Alloa Athletic .
After his contract with Dundee United had not been renewed, Shala returned to Germany in the summer of 2011 and signed a two-year contract with the then regional league club Hallescher FC . On January 11, 2013 he left the HFC and moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena , who had just been relegated to the regional league , where he signed a contract dated June 30, 2014. On May 16, 2014 Shala announced his departure from Jena, on the same day he signed a two-year contract with the regional league promoted BFC Dynamo . After a year, the successful relegation and the Berlin Cup victory (1-0 against Lichtenberg 47 in front of 6,914 spectators in the Jahn-Sportpark ), he dissolved the contract with the Berlin club because the coach there Thomas Stratos no longer planned with him.
On July 15, 2015, Babelsberg 03 announced the commitment of Andis Shala for an initial one-year contract period. With 15 goals this season in his first season, the headed center forward was the most successful Babelsberg shooter and shared the top scorer's crown with three other players with the same number of hits in the 2015/16 season . He also won the Brandenburg State Cup this season with a 3-1 victory for the SVB over the host FSV Luckenwalde in front of 3,042 spectators . With ten goals he was also the top scorer in this competition. In June 2016 Andis Shala extended his contract with SV Babelsberg 03 after only one year of club membership for three years until summer 2019. In the 2016/17 season he scored 21 goals for the zero three in the Regionalliga Nordost and was behind Federico Palacios (RB Leipzig II, 22 goals) second best goalscorer of the season. In the 4-0 win over VfB Auerbach on the last day of the season, he managed a flawless hat trick in 19 minutes at the Karl Liebknecht Stadium at home . For the 2018/19 season he moved to third division relegated FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . After a year Andis Shala left Erfurt again and joined the Kickers Offenbach from the Regionalliga Südwest. In the winter of the 2019/20 season, Shala moved on to the association league club SV Waldhof Mannheim II. On June 14, 2020, he made his debut in the first team of SV Waldhof Mannheim in the game against FC Bayern Munich II .
