Beginnings in Wolfsburg

Palacios played in the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons for the VfL Wolfsburg team in the B-Junior Bundesliga . In 2012/13 he won the German championship title with the A-youth from Wolfsburg. In the first half of the 2013/14 season he scored 29 goals in 14 games, which - although he left the club - was the top scorer as in the previous year. Overall, he is the record scorer in the U19 Bundesliga with 47 goals in 43 games .

Between the Bundesliga and the Oberliga

In January 2014, Palacios moved to third division club RB Leipzig for 600,000 euros . He signed a contract until June 30, 2018. On the first day of the game after the winter break, he made his first professional appearance. The coach Alexander Zorniger changed him in the 0-1 home defeat against Wacker Burghausen in the 64th minute. In total, Palacios made five appearances in the second half of the season - all of them substitutions in the second half. At the end of the 2013/14 season he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with Leipzig.

In the first half of the 2014/15 season , Palacios only made two second division appearances in the first team and one appearance in the DFB Cup . In addition, he was used four times in the second team (U23) in the fifth-class Oberliga Nordost , in which he scored four goals.

In order to gain match practice, Palacios was loaned to FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt on January 20, 2015 until the end of the season in the 3rd division . At the end of the season, the loan contract was not renewed, and Palacios came back to RB Leipzig. Since then, Palacios has been in the squad of the second team that had been promoted to the fourth-class Regionalliga Nordost for the 2015/16 season . That season he scored six goals in 28 regional league appearances. Also in the 2016/17 season, Palacios was initially in the squad of the second team. After scoring seven goals in 18 appearances, he made his debut under Ralph Hasenhüttl on 4 February 2017 the Bundesliga when he in the 0: 1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund on 19 match day in 80 minutes for Dominik Kaiser came on . While he subsequently came on another Bundesliga assignment, he was top scorer in the Regionalliga Nordost with 22 goals. After the second team was canceled after this season, Palacios moved back into the first team's squad for the 2017/18 season , but was not used in the first half of the season.

During his time in Leipzig and Erfurt, Palacios was used in the Bundesliga, 2nd Bundesliga, 3rd League, Regionalliga and Oberliga.

1. FC Nuremberg

On January 8, 2018, Palacios moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for 1. FC Nürnberg , with whom he was runner-up in the 2nd Bundesliga 2018 and thus promoted to the Bundesliga . There he scored his first goal in the Bundesliga in a 3-0 home win against Fortuna Düsseldorf on September 29, 2018 (6th matchday).

SSV Jahn Regensburg

After Nuremberg's relegation, Palacios was only used once in the second division and was finally sold to league competitor Jahn Regensburg at the end of the summer transfer phase in early September 2019 , where the offensive player received a three-year contract.

National team

Palacios played in various German youth teams. In May 2014 Marcus Sorg appointed him to the extended squad for the U19 European Championship , but canceled his participation for personal reasons. Palacios decided to play for Spain in the future. He played his last game for the German U19 on April 16, 2014.
