Career

Wekesser began his career in the youth of SV Waldhof Mannheim , but switched to rival 1. FC Kaiserslautern at the age of 10 . The center forward went through the youth teams there and received a professional contract in 2015, but remained without commitment and was used in the 2nd team (42 games, 1 goal). In 2017 TuS Koblenz signed him (13 games, no goal); During the winter break, he moved to the Regional League Southwest competitor FC Astoria Walldorf . There he scored 17 goals in 46 appearances and was signed by second division SSV Jahn Regensburg for the summer break of 2019 . In his first second division season he scored 3 goals in 28 appearances.
