Kevin Kunz (born January 22, 1992 in Neckargartach ) is a German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

In his youth Kunz played for SV Roigheim, Spvgg Möckmühl, Union Böckingen and FC Heilbronn. For the first time in the men's area Kunz came in the 2010/11 season for the upper division SGV Freiberg , but at the end of the season there was relegation to the Württemberg Association . After another season for Freiberg, which ended as a league champion with promotion, Kunz moved to the regional division SG Sonnenhof Großaspach in the summer of 2012 . There he was substitute goalkeeper behind Christopher Knett in his first season , in his second season Christopher Gäng was usually preferred when Großaspach rose to the 3rd division as champion of the Regionalliga Südwest and subsequent success in the promotion games against VfL Wolfsburg II . Kunz had contributed to this success with appearances in a total of eleven games. After Gäng was injured before the start of the 2014/15 season , Kunz played most of the first half of the season in the Großaspacher Tor.

For the 2015/16 season , Kunz moved to league rivals Chemnitzer FC . After Chemnitz's relegation from the third division, he moved to the Austrian second division club SC Austria Lustenau for the 2018/19 season , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2019. For Vorarlberg, he played 33 games in the 2nd division . In January 2020 he returned to Germany and moved to the second division SSV Jahn Regensburg , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021.
