Oliver Hein (born March 22, 1990 in Straubing ) is a German soccer player who has been with Jahn Regensburg since 2007 .

career

Oliver Hein started playing soccer at SV Salching at the age of five and moved to the U-19 of SSV Jahn Regensburg via FC Dingolfing in 2007 . There he played 35 games (two goals) in the U-19 Bundesliga South / Southwest in two years. From the 2009/10 season he was part of the squad of the first team that played in the 3rd division . At the away game in Osnabrück he came on for Stefan Jarosch and thus completed his first professional game. In the 2010/11 season , Hein, who had started as a defender, found a regular place in the defensive midfield in the second half of the season.

After he had become a permanent fixture in the team the following year, he extended his contract with SSV Jahn early in the spring of 2012 for two more years until 2014. At the end of the season, the team reached 3rd place and thus the relegation. Hein played both games and scored the 1-0 for Regensburg in the second leg at Karlsruher SC . The game ended 2-2, which helped the Upper Palatinate to rise to the 2nd Bundesliga . In the second division season and the following third division season, Hein made almost all of the games for Jahn and was captain in the meantime . Under Thomas Stratos he changed his position from double six to full defense . Before the winter break, Oliver Hein extended his contract prematurely by two years. Hein stayed even after relegation to the Regionalliga Bayern and was one of the top performers in the march through to the 2nd Bundesliga.
