Benedikt Saller (born September 22, 1992 in Munich ) is a German soccer player . He is under contract with SSV Jahn Regensburg .

Career

Saller came from the youth of TSV 1860 Munich in 2009 to the youth performance center of 1. FSV Mainz 05 . From January 2011 he was in the regional league squad of the second Mainz team. He made his Bundesliga debut on May 18, 2013 (34th matchday) in a 2-2 away game against VfB Stuttgart when he came on for Yunus Malli in the 75th minute . On January 25, 2014 (18th matchday) he scored his first Bundesliga goal with a 2-1 winner in the 87th minute in the away game against VfB Stuttgart. In the summer of 2016, his contract term in Mainz was not extended.

After a short absence from a club, he signed a two-year contract with third division club SSV Jahn Regensburg on August 10, 2016 and was promoted to the second division with the team at the end of the season.

National team

In December 2009, Saller ran in three games for the German U18 national team and scored one goal.
