The Expressway 400 ( Capital Region 2nd Belt Expressway , in German "Second ring highway in the metropolitan capital") is an expressway in South Korea . The highway is currently an east-west connection between the cities of Suwon and Osan , south of Seoul , in the metropolitan area of Sudogwon . The motorway also has an urban function and is 18 kilometers long with a planned length of 259 kilometers. It will be the second ring highway around the whole of Seoul and will be larger than the Ring Expressway 100 , which is 127.6 kilometers long.
Street description
In Bongdam , Expressway 400 begins with a connection to Local Road 309 (Gwacheon – Bongdam Expressway), a highway to Gunpo and Seoul. At Osan you cross the expressway 171 , which leads south to Yongin , and the expressway 153 which runs to Pyeongtaek . The highway then runs north past Osan, a city about 35 kilometers from Seoul. This is where the highway ends on Expressway 1 , which connects Seoul to Busan .
