Street description

The freeway begins west of Daejeon on Expressway 251 , which forms the city's western bypass, and then runs south to the city of Nonsan . Expressway 300 has 2 × 2 lanes and runs east. The motorway runs a little outside the city, through forest and mountain areas, and as a result the road has several tunnels . On the southeast side of Daejeon, Expressway 35 is crossed, which leads to Jinju on the south coast, and to the east, Expressway 300 continues with a double numbering together with Expressway 35. On Expressway 1 , the motorway ends at a motorway junction.

history

In December 1993 the construction of the Expressway 300 began and was opened to traffic on September 6, 1999, at that time still as Expressway 13. On August 25, 2001 the Expressway was renumbered and now has its number as Expressway 300, as the ring road all have 100 numbers starting with the first digit of the zip code of the city concerned.
