The Expressway 29 is a freeway in South Korea . The highway will be a 45-kilometer connection between Seoul and Sinbuk . It is the first highway north from Seoul and extends 30 kilometers from the border with North Korea.
Street description
Expressway 29 begins in the east of Seoul and runs north-east out of the city and crosses Expressway 100 , the Seoul bypass . Expressway 29 then follows a northeast loop to the valley, where it runs parallel to national road 47 . Expressway 29 runs through a relatively densely populated area. In Sohol, an intersection with Expressway 400 is planned, the second ring of Seoul. The highway ends at Sinbuk on national road 37 .
future
On November 17, 2008, the highway was approved by the South Korean government and the contracts with the concessionaire were signed in December 2010. Construction began in June 2012 and the motorway is due to open in June 2017. It is then the northernmost highway in South Korea.
