The Expressway 151 ( kor. 서천 공주 고속도로 ) is an expressway in South Korea . The highway is a regional north-south highway in the west of the country, between Seocheon and Gongju . The highway is 61 kilometers long.

Street description

The motorway begins at the town of Seocheon on Expressway 15 . The north-south highway runs to the west coast of South Korea. The motorway runs through forest and hilly landscape in the north in the Buyeo district . The number of runs is low as the area is not densely populated. West of the city of Gongju, the highway ends at Expressway 30 .

history

On December 17, 2001, construction of Expressway 151 began. Construction proceeded slowly as a number of tunnels and viaducts had to be built. The motorway was opened to traffic on May 28, 2009. With the opening of the motorway, travel time on this route has been reduced from 80 minutes to 40 minutes.
