Jan-Marc Schneider (born March 25, 1994 in Hamburg ) is a German soccer player who is under contract with the second division SSV Jahn Regensburg .

Career

Schneider, who attended the Schenefeld grammar school, was trained in the youth teams of various Hamburg clubs, including HSV . In 2013 he rose to the league with the men's team of SV Blankenese and then played for Eintracht Norderstedt in the regional league. In order to study business administration at the Wedel University of Applied Sciences , he returned to the league for the 2014/15 season and joined SV Halstenbek-Rellingen , for which he scored 28 goals in 25 league games and was then named Hamburg's amateur footballer of the year. At the age of 21 he came to FC St. Pauli , where he was mainly used in the regional league team .

Schneider made his professional football debut on January 29, 2017, when he came on for Lennart Thy in the 81st minute of the St. Pauli match against VfB Stuttgart . The Hamburger lost the game with 0: 1.

For the 2019/20 second division season , the attacker switched to league competitor SSV Jahn Regensburg free of charge , who provided him with a contract valid until June 2021.

His goal on 1 November 2019 as an overhead kick to make it 1-0 against VfL Osnabrück (final score 3: 3) was nominated for the goal of the month by the ARD Sportschau .
