Andreas Albers Nielsen (born March 23, 1990 in Skive ) is a Danish football player . The striker is under contract with SSV Jahn Regensburg .

Career

Albers played at the beginning of his football training with his home club Skive IK . There he was used for the first time in the men's area in summer 2008 in the second-class 1st division .

For the 2011/2012 season, the league competitor Vejle BK took him under contract. In his first season Albers came with the team to the quarter-finals of the national cup , where they failed, however, at first division club HB Køge . Vejle succeeded again in 2014/15, where the top eight ended after a 5-0 defeat against AC Horsens . In 106 league games, the attacker scored 38 times for the southern Danes.

Albers spent the next two years at the first division side Silkeborg IF , with whom he only played against relegation. From summer 2017 to summer 2019 he was active again in the second division, this time at Viborg FF , for which he contributed 30 goals and three assists in 67 competitive games.

For the 2019/20 second division season , the German second division SSV Jahn Regensburg signed the striker and provided him with a contract valid until June 2021.

Private

Albers is engaged and the couple have two daughters. After finishing school he studied next to the football Jura .
