Mounir Bouziane (born February 5, 1991 in Saint-Louis , Haut-Rhin ) is a French football player . He is under contract with SV Waldhof Mannheim in the 3rd division .

Career

youth

Bouziane has French and Algerian roots. He joined FC Saint-Louis Neuweg at the age of four . When he was twelve he went to boarding school in Strasbourg and joined Racing Strasbourg . On May 17, 2009 he came to his only assignment in the first team of the then second division. In the summer break of 2009 he switched to the offspring of SC Freiburg , whose professional team had previously been promoted to the Bundesliga .

Senior area

In May 2010 Bouziane made his debut in the second team of Freiburg in the fourth-class Regionalliga Süd on matchday 30 . At the end of the season, Bouziane had 19 games and five goals for the Freiburg U-19 team, which played in the A-Jugend-Bundesliga, while he was used four times for the regional league team (one goal). For the new season he was accepted into the reserve eleven after reaching the age limit.

In the summer of 2013 Bouziane moved within the Regionalliga Südwest to the second team from Mainz 05 . With the Mainz team , he finished third behind his former club SC Freiburg at the end of the 2013/14 season . However, since the Freiburg team had not submitted any license documents for the 3rd division , Bouziane moved up with Mainz 05 in the promotion round and finally rose to the 3rd division . Bouziane made his professional debut in the opening game against Arminia Bielefeld on July 26, 2014 and scored the goal for a 1-0 lead; in the end there was a 1: 2 defeat. In 31 other games he scored four goals.

He moved to FC Energie Cottbus in the third division in the summer of 2015 and scored one goal in 27 league games.

For the 2016/17 season Bouziane returned to the second team of 1. FSV Mainz 05. After completing 18 games (one goal) for Mainz in the first half of the third division, he made his debut in the first team on matchday 17 (January 22, 2017) of the 2016/17 season : He was in Substituted in the 77th minute of the Bundesliga match against 1. FC Köln (final score 0-0).

A year later, for the 2017/18 season , he moved to third division club FC Hansa Rostock . Under coach Pavel Dotchev Bouziane got 14 appearances in his first season in the league, one in the 1st main round of the DFB-Pokal 2017/18 against the Bundesliga club Hertha BSC (0: 2) and two in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern-Pokal . He won this with Hansa Rostock in the final against FC Mecklenburg Schwerin (2-1). Ultimately, Bouziane could not convince coach Dotchev with his performances, so that he used him in the second team in the league from the beginning of the 2018/19 season .

On August 31, 2018, Bouziane moved to SV Waldhof Mannheim , with whom he was promoted to the third division for the 2019/20 season .
