Hamza Saghiri (born February 18, 1997 in Würselen ) is a German football player .

Career

After the stations at VfL Übach-Boscheln and Alemannia Aachen , Saghiri moved to FC Viktoria Köln . He made his debut for Viktoria on September 3, 2016 on the 7th match day of the fourth-class Regionalliga West . In this 2-1 home win against SC Verl , he was in the starting line-up. In 2018 he won the Middle Rhine Cup with Viktoria .

In the 2018/19 season he took part in the DFB Cup by winning the state cup with Vikoria Köln . In the 1: 3 defeat in the first round against RB Leipzig , he played for the entire season. At the end of the season Saghiri rose to the 3rd division with Viktoria Köln .

On July 20, 2019, Saghiri was in the starting line-up for the first third division game in the club's history against Hansa Rostock and thus made his first appearance in a professional league. In his first third division season Saghiri came on 32 missions, where he was in the starting line-up in 28 games, and scored one goal. For the 2020/21 season, Saghiri moved to SV Waldhof Mannheim and shortly afterwards won the Badischer Pokal 2019/20, which was played late due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
