The building at Jakobstrasse 32 in Naumburg , a town in the south of Saxony-Anhalt and the administrative seat of the Burgenland district , is a protected architectural monument .
history
Jakobstraße is one of the oldest streets in Naumburg. In the basement and ground floor of house no. 32 there are still remains of the walls of a late Romanesque residential tower . There is also a Gothic lace arch in the basement.
description
The three-storey building with a gable roof and dormers was built around 1600. Its facade is structured by coupled Renaissance windows and a central two-storey bay window . This has figure and mask consoles . The bay window is structured by cranked pilasters and cornices . It is adorned with fittings , diamond coatings and cartouches .
Furnishing
Inside, groin vaults , a wooden staircase from the 17th century and late baroque stucco ceilings have been preserved. The doors date from the early days .
