Division One 1914/15

The Scottish Football League Division One was played for the 23rd time in 1915/16 . It was also the 26th edition of the highest soccer division within the Scottish Football League in which the Scottish champions were determined. It began on August 21, 1915 and ended on April 29, 1916. In the 1915/16 season, 20 clubs competed against each other in a total of 38 game days. Each team played once at home and away against every other team. The 2-point rule applied . In the event of a tie, the clubs (with the same number of points) were placed tied.

The championship won for the 13th time in the club's history Celtic Glasgow . The top scorer was Jimmy McColl from Celtic Glasgow with 34 goals . While the Scottish FA Cup and the Scottish Football League Division Two were interrupted from this season due to the outbreak of World War I, the league leadership decided to continue the championship in Division One.
