Premier Division 1994/95

The Scottish Football League Premier Division was played for the 21st time in 1995/96 . It was also the 99th edition of a top soccer division within the Scottish Football League in which the Scottish champions were determined. In the 1995/96 season, 10 clubs competed against each other in a total of 36 matchdays. Each team played twice at home and twice against every other team. In the event of a tie, the goal difference counted .

The Glasgow Rangers won the Scottish Championship for the 46th time in the club's history. The Gers qualified as champions for the 1996/97 Champions League season . As a defeated cup finalist , Heart of Midlothian qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup . Second and third placed Celtic Glasgow and FC Aberdeen qualified for the UEFA Cup .

Partick Thistle and FC Falkirk were relegated to the First Division at the end of the season . With 26 goals, Celtic Glasgow's Pierre van Hooijdonk was the top scorer.
