Martin Sharp
Martin Ritchie Sharp (born January 21, 1942 in Sydney ; † December 1, 2013 there ) was an Australian cartoonist , songwriter and filmmaker.
Sharp is considered one of the most important Australian artists of the 20th century. He is best known for creating psychedelic posters with Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan . He also created the record covers for the albums Disraeli Gears (1967) and Wheels of Fire (1968) for the group Cream . In 1968 he made the short film Darling, Do You Love Me? with Germaine Greer in the lead role.
