Martin Simons

Martin Simons (born October 21, 1973 in Lünen ) is a German writer and journalist .

Life

Martin Simons grew up in Selm , attended the Canisianum grammar school in Lüdinghausen from 1984 to 1993 and studied law and philosophy in Berlin, Graz and Paris. He worked as a lawyer, journalist and was a speechwriter for the former Bundestag President Wolfgang Thierse .

In 2009 he published the essay On the Magic of the Private .

His debut novel, Die Freiheit am Morgen , was published in 2013. In this novel, he processed his own experience as a lawyer and as deputy head of the short-lived magazine project Liebling .

Martin Simons lives as an author and entrepreneur (co-founder and one of the managing directors of FineFoodCircle) in Berlin .
