Martin Strele (born May 27, 1973 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian theater and film actor .

Life

After successfully completing drama school in 1999, Martin Strele appeared in several television series such as Die Rosenheim-Cops , SOKO Wien , Der Bergdoktor , SOKO Kitzbühel and Die Bergwacht as well as in feature films, television films, dramas and comedies.

In almost 100 theater engagements, for example at the Tyrolean State Theater, Innsbruck City Theater, street theater, touring theater, Arbos Theater (theater for the deaf and hearing) and many more, he was able to steadily refine his craft. He always placed great emphasis on researching as different characters as possible and not being tied down to one genre.

In 2007 he took on the title role of "Ritter Rüdiger" in the musical of the same name by "Bluatschink" mastermind Toni Knittel, which was a huge public success and which he took over several summers in Tyrol (Burgfestspiele Ehrenberg) and Lower Austria (Burgfestspiele Reinsberg) in a 20 kilogram heavy Embodied full armor.

Since summer 2017 he has played the main role of Old Shatterhand at the Karl May Festival Burgrieden.

His script “Passengers of Life” is expected to be filmed in 2020.
