Martin Zerlauth

Martin Zerlauth (born November 7, 1945 in Bludenz ) is a former Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and state official. From 1979 to 1982 he was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament .

education and profession

Zerlauth attended elementary and secondary school in Ludesch and from 1959 completed an apprenticeship as a stonemason at the Xaver Muther company in Bludenz. He passed the journeyman's examination in 1962 and then attended the Federal College for Stone Processing in Hallein from 1962 to 1965 . Professionally, Zerlauth was employed as a technician in neighboring Germany from 1965 to 1967 , and in 1967 he joined the state of Vorarlberg. Here he worked from 1967 to 1978 as a technician for the housing subsidy of the Vorarlberg regional government in Bregenz , after which he moved from 1978 to 2007 to the Feldkirch regional construction authority . In 2007 Zerlauth retired.

Politics and functions

After being a member of the municipal council was elected at Ludesch stepped Zerlauth 1976 in the Austrian Freedom Party. He was also a member of the local council from 1975 to 1985 and resigned from the local council in 1985. He was also a delegate of the Ludesch community at the “Walgau spatial planning community”. He also acted as local party leader of the FPÖ Ludesch from 1976 to 1980 and was also active within the FPÖ as a member of the district party leadership of the FPÖ Bludenz and a member of the state party leadership of the FPÖ Vorarlberg. As a member of the Bludenz constituency , he was sworn in as a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament on November 6, 1979, to which he was a member until he resigned on May 8, 1982. He was a member of the Agriculture Committee of the Vorarlberg State Parliament and a member of the Economics Committee and also acted as a substitute member in the Energy Policy Committee and as a substitute member in the Finance Committee.

Private

Martin Zerlauth was born as the son of the farmer, ÖVP regional councilor and president of the Vorarlberg Chamber of Agriculture, Karl Zerlauth . His mother Gebhardina Paula Zerlauth, née Schallert, came from Lingenau . Martin Zerlauth is divorced and the father of four sons who were born between 1969 and 1983.
