Martina Koederitz

Martina Koederitz (born February 20, 1964 in Sindelfingen ) is a German manager. From 2011 to 2018 she was chairman of the management board of IBM Germany . From 2013 she also headed the IBM regional company for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Since January 2018 she has been responsible for the automotive and industrial sectors worldwide as IBM Global Industry Managing Director .

Career

Koederitz holds a degree in business administration ( BA ). She started her career at IBM in 1987 as a systems consultant. In 1998 she was appointed sales manager for financial services providers. From 1999 she headed the IBM sales organization for the cooperative financial network . In 2003 she became Vice President for the sales of zSeries mainframes at IBM EMEA and in 2006 in Germany. She then worked as Client Advocacy Executive in the office of IBM CEO Sam Palmisano in Armonk , USA. She then became Vice President for the IBM Systems and Technology Groupin Germany, then headed the IBM business for medium-sized companies and, as a member of the management board, was responsible for the entire sales area of ​​IBM Germany since October 2010. In May 2011 she was appointed to succeed Martin Jetter at the helm of IBM Germany. Since April 2013 she has also been General Manager IBM Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH). In January 2018, she was appointed IBM Global Industry Managing Director .

Koederitz has been a member of the RWE Supervisory Board since 2016 . She is also a member of the supervisory boards of BWI GmbH and Innogy .

In 2011, the specialist magazine Computerwoche ranked Koederitz in fifth place when it named the Top 100 of the most important personalities in the German ICT landscape.
