Martina Ladurner

Martina Ladurner (born November 26, 1969 in Meran ) is an Italian politician from South Tyrol .

education and profession

Ladurner completed a degree in political science at the University of Innsbruck , which she completed with a diploma thesis on the subject of nation, submitted in 1994 . She then worked for a short time as a secondary school teacher, worked for the South Tyrolean Hoteliers' and Innkeepers Association (HGV) and in the general management of the Merano sanitary company.

Ladurner is married with a daughter and has lived in Algund since childhood . In 2007 Ladurner founded the association mamazone Südtirol with other women . She is also committed to children with heart disease and is the founder and president of the Kinderherz association , and has been the managing director of the Meran association Die Kinderwelt since 2009 .

politics

Ladurner was elected to the local council of Algund for the first time in 1995; from 2000 to 2001 she was the village's vice mayor. In 1998 she was a candidate on the list of the South Tyrolean People's Party for the state parliament and at the same time for the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol . She missed the move, but was able to move up in 2001 for Alois Kofler , who was elected to the Senate . In the 2003 elections, Ladurner was able to defend her mandate, which she held until 2008. After Ladurner initially missed re-election, she moved again to the state parliament on April 9, 2013, as Hans Berger had been elected to the Senate. Before the state elections in 2013 , she refused to run again and thus retired from active politics.
