To their work

Her works, be it pictures, picture objects or sculptures, are shaped by archetypal and existential situations. She often makes reference to ancient and Christian mythology, as well as literature - especially condensed literature, i.e. poetry. Common to all forms of expression is the interest in dialogue: on the one hand in the image itself and on the other in relation to the external form. Within the works, dialogic structures create ambivalence and ambiguity. In relation to the external form, they take shape in their response images. Since 2004 all female figures have had their faces. Her sculptural works have accompanied her painting since the beginning of her studies. She has repeatedly modeled small sculptures - for the past two years she has also conquered the larger format in sculpture, primarily head sculptures. Her first bronze sculpture was created in 2011 as a design for the memorial of the victims of the Love Parade in Duisburg. In 2013 the bronze sculpture "Caput Medusae" was created.
