Viewpoints

Foreign policy

In April 2018, Wonner was among the signatories of a statement calling for the establishment of a committee of inquiry into the legality of French arms deliveries to the Saudi-led war coalition in Yemen, a few days before a state visit by the Saudi crown prince to Paris.

In July 2019, Wonner abstained from the vote on the ratification of the EU's Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) with Canada .

Domestic politics

In May 2018, Wonner supported a proposal for a bill on bioethics that would give homosexuals and women living alone access to artificial insemination at health insurance costs. That had been one of Emmanuel Macron's campaign promises and now became the first major social reform of his five-year term.

With regard to immigration issues, Wonner is considered to be rather liberal. In late 2019 she was one of the critics of the government's proposals on immigration. She joined a group of 17 LREM members who recommended easier access to the labor market, but at the same time better cooperation with authorities from safe countries of origin such as Albania and Georgia, so that those wishing to emigrate should be informed in their own country about the prospects of an asylum application in the country Destination country would have.

During the COVID-19 pandemic , Wonner joined Philippe Douste-Blazy's criticism of Prime Minister Édouard Philippe's approach and called for the use of hydroxychloroquine to be facilitated.
