Marvin Möller (born January 18, 1999 in Hamburg ) is a German tennis player .

Career

Möller showed early talent for ball sports, especially soccer and tennis, which were promoted at the elite school for sports in Hamburg. Eventually he decided to pursue a career as a professional tennis player.

From 2014 Möller regularly took part in junior tournaments; In the junior world rankings, he achieved a combined top placement with rank 18 on August 8, 2016. His greatest success so far was his entry into the quarter-finals of the French Open 2016 in the junior competition, where he started as a qualifier and lost to Nicola Kuhn in three sets. Furthermore, he reached the second round in singles and doubles at the Junior US Open 2016 .

For the German Tennis Championships 2016 in Hamburg, Möller received a wildcard from tournament director Michael Stich for the singles, where he faced Grega Žemlja . In this very first professional match for Möller - and that directly on the ATP World Tour - he clearly lost 1: 6, 2: 6.
