Masahito soda

Masahito Soda ( Japanese 曽 田 正人 , Soda Masahito ; * June 18, 1968 ) is a Japanese mangaka (comic artist).

He made his debut as a manga artist in 1990 with Get Rock in Magazine Special , an offshoot of Shōnen magazine . With Shakariki! he landed his first hit two years later. After graduating from Shakariki! In 1995, Soda moved to Shogakukan publishing house to publish the Shōnen manga Me-gumi no Daigo about a firefighter with great success. For this work he was awarded the 42nd Shogakukan Manga Prize in 1997 and the Excellence Prize at the Japan Media Arts Festival in 1998. In Subaru , he tells of the life of a ballet talent .

In 2005 he received the 29th Kōdansha Manga Prize for his current work, capeta , a manga about go-kart racing .
