Johan Jacob Frissen

Johann Jacob Frissen OT (born May 1, 1645 ; † June 8, 1702 in Liège ) was a priest of the Teutonic Order .

Life

After Frissen had entered the Ballei Alden Biesen and had completed his novitiate in the Kommende Neuenbiesen in Maastricht , he took his religious vows on October 16, 1672 . Probably still living in Maastricht, he became head chef and economist for Landkommende Alden Biesen in 1675 , which he remained until 1677. At the same time he owned an altar pledge in Saint-Andre, where the land commander nominated him as pastor on October 17, 1677. Appointed Apostolic Protonotary by the Pope , Frissen also became a canon at the Sint-Jan-Evangelist collegiate church in 1684 .
