The Masin ( tetum Mota Masin ) is the border river between the municipality of Cova Lima ( East Timor ) and the Indonesian administrative district of Malaka .

The source of the Masin is in the East Timorese Suco Nanu , near the border with the Indonesian district of East Kobalima . The river follows the national border to the south. On its east bank, Nanu is replaced by Suco Beiseuc . Coming from there, the Lenuk flows into the Masin. There are also tributaries from Eastern Cobalima. Following the national border, the Masin finally flows into the Timor Sea .
