Massimo Bessone

Massimo Bessone (born October 11, 1969 in Soave ) is an Italian politician.

biography

Bessone has lived in South Tyrol since 1970 and is a qualified industrial technician in the field of electronics and telecommunications. In 2010 he was elected to the City Council of Bressanone for the first time for Lega Nord , where he served as Vice President from 2015 to 2018. From 2017 to 2019 he was chairman of the South Tyrolean branch of his party. In the state elections in 2018 , Bessone was able to win a mandate for the South Tyrolean state parliament and, at the same time, the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol with 4,398 preferential votes . After serving temporarily as Vice President of the State Parliament, he was elected to the South Tyrolean provincial government on January 25, 2019 . There Bessone took over the departments of structural engineering and technical services, property, land register and cadastre in the Kompatscher II cabinet .
