Matías Britos , full name Matías Britos Cardoso , (born November 26, 1988 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.71-meter-tall offensive player Britos was already in the 2007 Clausura in the squad of the second division Atenas from San Carlos and scored two league goals and another in the play-off semi-finals in that round. Also in the 2007/08 season he will still be with this club. In the Clausura 2008 there are six more hits for him. He then spent the Apertura 2008 in the ranks of the Rampla Juniors playing in the Primera División . In the first half of the series he was used 13 times. In the second half of the 2008/09 season he ran in 14 league matches for Juventud and drew six successful goalscorer. In the Clausura 2010 he played again for Atenas, who had meanwhile been promoted to the Primera División and came there depending on the sources to 13 or 14 appearances in the league, in which he scored four goals. He also played three games (two goals) in the Liguilla Pre-Libertadores 2009 . His next position was in the 2010/11 season with the Rampla Juniors, again one of his previous employers. 29 games and six goals - according to other sources 30 games and seven goals - shows his statistics in this series. He then moved to Defensor and completed 25 games in the league in the 2011/12 season. He met again six times. In addition, he was used in four games in the Copa Libertadores and scored one goal. The next step in his career took Britos abroad. In Mexico he joined Club León , for which he has played since Apertura 2012 . In July 2013, he extended his contract with Panzas Verdes for eight seasons (four years) after rumors of a move to Cagliari Calcio arose. There he completed, in addition to eight games (one goal) in the Copa Libertadores and seven games (two goals) in the Copa México , 69 league encounters for the Mexicans. He scored 18 hits. In 2013/14 he won both tournaments for the Mexican championship with the club . In 2014 he then joined UNAM Pumas . For this club he played 22 games (five goals) in the Primera División and six games (one goal) in the Copa México in the 2014/15 season . During the 2015/16 season (as of July 13, 2016) there have been 37 further premier league appearances (eleven goals), eight games played (one goal) in the 2016 Copa Libertadores and two cup appearances (no goal).

National team

Britos was a member of the Uruguayan squad that won bronze at the 2011 Pan American Games . During the tournament he was used in all five Uruguayan games. He didn't score a goal. Britos was also part of a Uruguayan U-22 selection that played against the Argentine U-20 national team in October 2011.
