Matěj Končal (born December 8, 1993 in Pilsen ) is a Czech football player .
Career
society
Končal started his career with Viktoria Pilsen . In August 2012 he was in the Europa League qualification against Ruch Chorzów for the first time in the professional squad. In September 2012 he made his debut in the Gambrinus Liga when he came on as a substitute for Michal Ďuriš on the sixth match day of the 2012/13 season against FK Dukla Prague in the 89th minute .
In 2013 he was awarded to the second division club FK Varnsdorf . After ten games in which he was able to score, he returned to Pilsen during the winter break of the 2013/14 season. After his return he made his debut in the Europa League in March 2014 when he was brought into play in the 84th minute for Michal Ďuriš in the second leg of the second leg against Olympique Lyon .
In April 2014, he scored his first goal in the Czech top division in a 3-0 win against FK Teplice . In the winter break of the 2014/15 season he was awarded to the league competitor FK Mladá Boleslav . For FK Mladá Boleslav, he completed seven league games in which he remained without hits.
For the 2015/16 season he was awarded to 1. FK Příbram for half a year . For the 2016/17 season he moved to FK Jablonec . In February 2017 he was awarded to the second division club FK Varnsdorf, for which he came to four league appearances.
For the 2017/18 season Končal moved to the second division club FK Baník Sokolov . For Baník Sokolov he completed 27 games in the FNL that season , in which he scored three goals.
National team
Končal played for the Czech Republic's U-19 team for the first time in 2012 . In April 2013 he made his debut against Slovakia for the U-21 team . In the same year he also played for the U-20 selection for the first time .
