Mate Šunjić (born March 18, 1987 in Metković ) is a handball goalkeeper from Croatia .
The 1.95 meters tall and 90 kilograms heavy goalkeeper initially played for RK Metković , RK Zagreb , RK Medveščak and RK Nexe . From the 2013/14 season, the French first division club US Créteil HB was under contract. In the summer of 2017, he moved to the Romanian first division club CSM Bucharest . A year later he joined the French first division club US Ivry HB .
Mate Šunjić has so far played 18 international matches for the Croatian national team .
