Mateo Figoli , full name Mateo Figoli Martínez , (born August 3, 1984 in Maldonado ) is a Uruguayan football player .

The 1.74 meter or 1.76 meter tall midfielder started his career in 2001 in neighboring Maldonado at the local Club Deportivo Maldonado . Two years later, during the Torneo Apertura 2003, he moved to the second division and local rivals Club Atlético Atenas . In 2005 he dared the leap to Europe and joined the Swiss club SC Kriens for the second half of the season . After only half a year, however, he returned to Uruguay. There he completed five first division games for the Rampla Juniors in the 2005/06 season and then moved to Mexico. In Central America he was first for Querétaro FC (27 league games / six goals) and then for Puebla FC (17/1) until he was drawn back to his homeland. There he joined Danubio FC in the state capital on loan for six months with a six-month extension option and played in eleven Torneo Clausura games in the 2007/08 season as well as in six Copa Libertadores matches . At the beginning of the 2008/09 season he accepted an offer from the Italian US Triestina , played there until January 2010, before he went back to Mexico for Club León after completing 15 Serie B games (one goal) . With a record of three games and three goals each in the Clausura 2010, he switched to Dorados de Sinaloa , for whom he played from the Apertura 2011. At this club he has made six first division appearances and the same number of hits in the 2011/12 season. He has now been under contract with Cúcuta Deportivo in Colombia since 2012 . For the Colombians, he has so far (as of June 1, 2013) completed 34 league encounters, in which he scored three or four goals, depending on the sources. In the second half of 2013 he was then in the squad of Estudiantes Tecos , but did not appear in the league there. At the beginning of 2014 he again joined the Mexican club Dorados de Sinaloa. There he played seven games (no goal) in the Liga de Ascenso and two games (no goal) in the Copa México in 2013/14 . Subsequently, Mineros de Zacatecas also signed him in 2014 . There he played 22 times (no goal) in the Liga de Ascenso and eight times (no goal) in the Copa México in the 2014/15 season. At the beginning of June 2015 he moved to Alianza Petrolera . For the Colombians he played in 39 first division games (four goals) and once (no goal) in the Copa Colombia . From mid-June 2016, he continued his career at Atlético Huila and has so far (as of July 25, 2017) played 29 times (one goal) in the top Colombian league and once (no goal) in the cup.
